My name is Alyson and I am the owner/designer/maker at Creative Stitching. I make beautiful hand crafted fabric items. These would make ideal gifts for friends, family and the home. Take your time to browse through the categories as I'm sure you'll find something that you like.

Everything you see here has been handcrafted and stitched by me. I've always loved sewing and working with fabric so this website is a showcase of my work. There are lots of lovely unique items that would make delightful gifts for friends, family and the home. I design and make a wide variety of fabric products such as Embroidered Greetings cards for Special Occasions, Pocket Tissue Holders, Tooth Fairy Pillows, Mobile Phone Cases, Coin Purses,  Makeup Bags, Bunting, Peg Bags, Book Cushions, Lavender Hearts and Sachets to name but a few. I also make seasonal items such as lovely fabric Advent Calendars, Christmas Stockings, Sacks and Decorations.  The Advent Calendars are also available in Kits or Panels for you to make yourself.

I had been selling my products locally at craft fairs for many years but have now moved on-line. I also supply gorgeous padded lavender Hearts and Sachets to Mayfield Lavender which is a beautiful organic lavender farm in Banstead, Surrey

I was involved with a fantastic shop called "Fayre and Square" based in the Centre Court Shopping Centre, Wimbledon, London SW19.  It was a brand new concept providing employability and retail skills to supported young adults with learning difficulties, mental health issues or any other barrier to employment, as well as promoting local artisans and handmade crafts.  A selection of my products was on sale at the shop but sadly the shop had to close when the shopping centre was re-developed. We are still looking for a new home.

I am now selling my products at a lovely art gallery in Carshalton, Surrey called The Vellum Mill Gallery.

I aim to make excellent quality products and take great pride in my work. I enjoy visiting exhibitions and fairs to gain inspiration and ideas. I love the beautiful cotton fabrics produced by the quilting fabric company Makower as they have such a lovely range. I also have an embroidery machine so can personalise some of the items.
